College of Agriculture & Natural Resources
Environmental Science & Policy

The Environmental Science and Policy Program welcomes all students with diverse academic interests and a commitment to solving the world's most pressing environmental challenges.

If you are an incoming first year or transfer student, please visit the UM admissions websiteOnce there, find the applicable applicant category (freshman, transfer, international) and follow the instructions.  Please note:

  • All new ENSP students enter as Undeclared; you will choose your concentration later during your advising sessions.
  • All but one of the ENSP concentrations are open to all students.
  • The concentration in ENSP-Biodiversity and Conservation Biology is part of a Limited Enrollment Program (LEP) in Biological Sciences.  Interested ENSP students will be guided through entrance requirements during advising and most ENSP applicants will be admitted.

If you are a current, on-campus student, please go to Declaring ENSP to learn how to change your major.

We look forward to meeting you!
