The Environmental Science and Policy Program is proud to announce some significant achievements among our current students:

ENSP Departmental Honors
Ms. Maire Panday successfully defended her ENSP undergraduate honors thesis titled “An Evaluation of the Climate Change Preparedness of Terrestrial Protected Areas in Maryland”. The thesis committee was impressed with the rigor of research she conducted and the clear manner in which all aspects of the research were communicated in both oral and written form.

Boren Scholarship
Congratulations to Kalina Gibson, who was recently awarded the Boren Scholarship!  This scholarship helps fund study abroad by U.S. undergraduate students in world regions critical to U.S. interests.  This fall, Kalina will be traveling to India to study Hindi and learn about the clean energy transition taking place there.
